ERC has granted four Stockholm researchers
Congratulations - ERC has granted four young reserachers from Stockholm!
Researchers applying for grants in ERC's first call, "Starting Independent Researcher Grant", have been notified regarding the successfulness of their application.
Out of the 9 167 proposals that were submitted by young researchers to the first call for young scientists, 559 continued to the second part of the evaluation process. 454 of the proposals were submitted from researchers planning to conduct their research at Swedish host institutions. 19 out of these passed to the second stage of the evaluation process. Seven of these have been granted funding. A few more applications of the 19 might recieve funding. This will be decided at the beginning of 2008, after the budget has been finalized.
