Quality work of the benefits of hearing aid and its impact in the patients life
Hearing bridge, a project within Stockholm Science City Foundation, has contracted with the company Avesina Specialty and Karolinska Hospital around quality assurance of the benefits of hearing aid and its impact in the quality of life of patients.
Hearing bridge within Stockholm Science City Foundation will soon start a collaboration with Avesina Specialty and the Karolinska Hospital on the order of Stockholm County Council. The cooperation aims to measure and improve quality of care of patients with hearing loss. The study will consist of a comprehensive evaluation of the benefits of hearing aid and its impact on quality of life of patients.
Avesina Specialty contributes with 67% of funding and the remainder is funded by the Karolinska Hospital. The project is led by Hearing bridge within Stockholm Science City Foundation. The goal is to provide better basal auditory rehabilitation.
Facts about Avesina:
Since January 1, 2008 Avesina Specialty has taken over responsibility for basal auditory rehabilitation in Stockholm County Council. Today Avesina has four activities that offer quality hearing tests.
