Stockholm BioScience – now a part of Stockholm Science City/Vetenskapsstaden!

As a natural part of operational development, Stockholm BioScience (SBS) became a formal part of Stockholm Science City/Vetenskapsstaden on 1 February 2006. SBS has become a sub-division of Stockholm Science City and will retain its name and focus on operations within the biosciences. This merger will provide valuable opportunities for Stockholm Science City/Vetenskapsstaden as concerns all parts of its strategy. SBS has gained a strong position and the support of an influential Board as well as financing secured in the long-term. Operational Director of SBS will be Ola Björkman who reports directly to the CEO of  Stockholm Science City/Vetenskapsstaden, Henrik Mickos.
